Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line legal counsel for commercial contracts, procurement, and sales agreements, ensuring efficient legal service delivery and compliance with local processes
  • Advise on commercial risks, manage disputes and litigation, and support intellectual property protection initiatives
  • Lead compliance activities, including data privacy, investigations, and training on key policies and procedures
  • Deliver targeted legal and compliance training, support due diligence efforts, and contribute to legal operations and strategic procurement practices
  • Assist in managing claims and litigation matters, improving processes through standard templates and tools, and coordinating with external counsel in Japan and Korea
  • Provide commercial legal support across business units, the manufacturing site, and all functions in Japan
  • Actively participate in company projects, offering critical insights through independent legal analysis
  • Handle employment and contract-related disputes, including judicial proceedings
  • Oversee compliance activities—particularly data privacy—ensuring alignment with corporate policies and local regulations
  • Serve as a key contact for compliance matters in the region
