Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Knowledge of mechanical and/or electronics manufacturing and testing
  • Ability to do analyses and interpretations of electrical, mechanics and software technical data
  • Mechanical proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Assembling and testing electro and mechanical subassemblies to drawings, BOMs and work instructions to meet quality control standards and production schedules
  • Testing scientific instruments using test fixtures and computers to identify and debug mechanical and electrical problems
  • Perform product testing per defined processes and specifications of radiation products in production environment
  • Ensure test and calibration of devices can achieve daily production goals
  • Work with the Engineering team to resolve test throughput
  • Calibration and test using radiation sources
  • Monitor and record performance of products on test and providing status to management
  • Performs activities based on procedures
  • Tests parts of systems, or systems with typical test times
  • Delivery on time of modules or electro mechanical assemblies with the right quality
  • Working on improvements of products and related processes
  • Independent tracing, analyses to tackle problems
