Requirements

  • Past experience leading as a salaried manager within Store Operations, Supply Chain OR Professional Facilitation Expertise
  • In depth knowledge of and 5+ years of experience adult learning principles, interactive learning design and blended learning techniques (classroom, e-learning, action learning, communities of practice, self-paced)
  • Professional certification in known Leadership Programs (Situational Leadership, etc.)
  • Coaching designation is an asset
  • Strong diagnostic skills
  • Strong written, oral, and facilitation skills including knowledge of group dynamics
  • Self-starter and ability to take initiative to deliver results
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office applications, specifically Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills (internal and external)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Uses social learning technology to augment learning ‘stickiness’
  • Minimum Education Required: College Certificate or Diploma
  • Minimum Years of Experience Required: 5 – 7 years
  • Age – 16 or older

Responsibilities

  • Delivers comprehensive learning content virtually and in-person, focusing on strategic, leadership, and complex training
  • Supports facilitator development
  • Maintains strong business relationships
  • Ensures alignment with corporate strategies
  • Prepares and reviews training documentation, incorporating internal and external information and trends
  • Spends time in the operational environment to understand business processes, obstacles, and the needs of end users
  • Ensures effective session flow, generates participation, tailors presentations to participant needs, and uses relevant storytelling to engage and inspire
  • Utilizes system-driven student tracking, feedback from leaders, and observed behaviors to assess and track progress
  • Uses data to confirm learner readiness and communicate program effectiveness to stakeholders
  • Supports the development of learning dashboards and shares best practices
  • Confirms that learners meet performance criteria
  • Collaborates on root cause issues and plans continued development
  • Provides factually based feedback to coaches and escalates concerns as needed
  • Creates and maintains strong relationships with business partners
  • Displays passion and energy while facilitating, using broadcast voice techniques and creative engagement methods
  • Stays current with trends in education and training
