Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on building highly-scalable and secure payments platforms. They should have experience with Java, distributed systems, scalability, and availability, along with a good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases and transactions. Experience with IaaS clouds like AWS/Google Cloud, Azure, or OpenStack is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for owning one or more components of the platform, driving innovation in your area of ownership, and working with various product teams to gather requirements and add capabilities. You will also review and influence design, architecture, and standards, identify patterns and provide solutions to complex problems, multitask and prioritize, handle dependencies, and participate in recruitment and nurturing of engineers. Furthermore, you will derive actionable insights by mining large datasets, build low-level infrastructure pushing network performance boundaries, and mentor and train other team members.
