Requirements

An active Top Secret Clearance is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree being preferred. The candidate must perform all functional duties independently, maintain a high level of discretion, diplomacy, and professionalism, adhere to a strict business attire dress code, and handle confidential information with integrity. Familiarity with JSP IT systems, DTS, DISS, and OUSD internal processes is preferred, as is prior Pentagon or OSD experience.

Responsibilities

The Lead Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and lead backend development efforts using languages like ASP.Net, C#, or Java, including database schema management and system integration. They will build user interfaces with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, and develop/manage web applications using the Sitecore content management system. The role involves integrating AI tools into the development lifecycle, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. Additionally, the developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver projects, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
