Position Overview

Culture Amp is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with strong development skills to design and implement scalable, high-impact solutions within our Salesforce CRM ecosystem. This hybrid role demands deep technical expertise and robust solution design capabilities. As a Lead, Salesforce Solution Architect, you will spearhead the design, implementation, and governance of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will serve as a strategic advisor to both technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring our Salesforce ecosystem aligns with our enterprise architecture, scales with business growth, and supports critical business functions across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and more. This is a highly visible and impactful role requiring a blend of hands-on technical expertise, strong solution design skills, and cross-functional leadership. You will partner with business leaders across Revenue Operations and other business units to translate complex business needs into elegant, performant Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Sales Cloud, custom applications, and cross-system integrations supporting our growing SaaS business.

Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Development

  • Design and implement end-to-end architectures across Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, CPQ, Experience) and integrated systems.
  • Lead complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, and Informatica.
  • Build custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.
  • Maintain architectural documentation and ensure scalable data models, secure design, and platform best practices.
  • Mentor developers and admins, lead technical design sessions, and enforce high development standards and governance.
  • Evaluate and implement new Salesforce features and AppExchange tools to optimize performance and user productivity.
  • Define and implement QA standards and test strategies, ensuring solution reliability.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with business leaders and functional stakeholders to understand and translate business objectives into scalable system solutions.
  • Analyze upstream/downstream impacts and document solution designs and workflows.

Governance & Enablement

  • Define and enforce coding standards, development best practices, and CI/CD processes.
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and collaboration with admins and developers.
  • Evaluate and recommend AppExchange and third-party solutions as needed.

Platform Strategy & Innovation

  • Continuously optimize platform performance, data hygiene, and compliance (security, governance, scalability).
  • Stay current with Salesforce innovations and proactively introduce improvements.
