Requirements

Master’s degree in educational psychology, research methods, data science, or a related quantitative field plus 3+ years of relevant experience, including ideally experience working with school districts; or a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of equivalent experience
Proficient in R, Python, or other statistical software, with experience in version control and managing large data files
Advanced knowledge of statistics and research methods
Experienced in designing research studies and analysis plans
Demonstrated success in managing study participants
Experience with AI tools (e.g., GPT, Claude) and an awareness of their applications in research
Track record of mentoring and guiding others in research best practices
Collaborative, adaptable, and thrive in dynamic environments
Communicate clearly and influence team culture through inclusion and trust
Detail-oriented, passionate about accuracy, and consistently meet deadlines
Familiar with educational technology and current trends

Responsibilities

Define, refine, and own the full data acquisition lifecycle across multiple research teams
Proactively coordinate external data acquisition and special studies, identifying new opportunities and maintaining robust tracking systems
Develop and implement new processes to enhance data analysis efficiency and accuracy
Mentor and guide junior research staff, reviewing analysis plans, code, and project deliverables
Identify and resolve data quality issues, collaborating with data teams to ensure integrity
Lead cross-functional collaborations to achieve ambitious project goals
Represent the research team at conferences, presenting findings and contributing to team learning
