Essential skills include excellent oral and written communication in English, proficiency in executive-level presentations, strong financial management for projects (revenues, contribution margin, cash), and a thorough understanding of contract terms, risks, claims, and remedies. A solid background in Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Compressor technologies, and energy transition technologies such as hydrogen, carbon capture, geothermal, and energy storage is required. A project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA) is also necessary. The role involves up to 35% international travel.

Responsibilities

The Lead Project Installations Manager is responsible for project delivery, profit and loss accountability, and customer satisfaction by managing project activities and resources. This includes overseeing construction, building, and commissioning on customer sites, from mobilization through civil, erection, and commissioning work. Key duties involve driving team performance, engaging support functions for contractual compliance, serving as the primary contact for project stakeholders, managing project financials to exceed targets, mitigating risks, and ensuring project close-out. The role also entails creating execution models for large EPC projects, including NPD content and external partnerships, covering all project development phases, preparing DORs, orchestrating third-party collaboration, and developing new processes. Additionally, the manager is responsible for testing and validation of equipment, facilities, or plants according to design objectives and specifications.
