Proven track record in the games industry
Strong technical background with a deep understanding of game development pipelines, architecture, and technical challenges
Hands-on experience with both Unreal Engine (UE) and Unity
Prior experience directly managing or leading an engineering team
Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, such as presenting to partners, managing outsourcers, or working with clients

Responsibilities

Partner with the Regional Director to analyze market needs and define the strategic roadmap for game engineering services in China
Develop and optimize standardized yet flexible service plans, pricing models, and technical offerings for potential clients
Identify and vet potential technical partners and talent within the region to support service delivery
Act as a key technical representative in customer meetings, pitches, and discussions for new business opportunities
Translate client vision and requirements into actionable technical proposals and scopes of work
Work with the team to build strong, trusted relationships with potential and existing clients by demonstrating deep technical and production knowledge
Lead the end-to-end execution of pilot projects, serving as the primary point of contact for the client and internal stakeholders
Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and resources to successfully prove our service capabilities and secure long-term contracts
Build and manage a small, core team of engineers and technical artists for pilot delivery
Partner with the regional director for recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of a full-scale engineering team
Establish team processes, best practices, and a culture of technical excellence and client focus
