Requirements

  • 3–5 years in product management for SaaS or cloud products, with direct experience in security features (audit logs, IAM, access controls, or compliance)
  • Technical fluency: Understanding of audit log architectures, data pipelines, reporting/analytics, and RBAC/permission management in SaaS environments
  • Hands-on execution: Track record of translating requirements into shipped product features
  • Stakeholder management: Effective cross-functional collaboration (Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance)
  • Experience designing/administering permissioning frameworks in B2B SaaS
  • Detail-oriented: Strong attention to data fidelity, auditability, and system robustness
  • Communication: Exceptional documentation and stakeholder communication skills
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with regulatory standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Nice-to-have: Exposure to security event monitoring, SIEM, or similar platforms

Responsibilities

  • Lead roadmap, design, and delivery for Audit Logs: End-to-end ownership, including event capture, tamper-proof storage, search/filter, and rich reporting/analytics
  • Lead roadmap, design, and delivery for Roles & Permissions: Design and evolve granular role-based access control (RBAC) for users and complex partner scenarios
  • Lead roadmap, design, and delivery for Notifications & Notes: Define and deliver contextual notifications (in-app, email), user mentions, and note-taking/commenting features integrated across the platform
  • Requirements Management: Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; work hands-on with engineering and QA through development cycles
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Security, Compliance, Engineering, Customer Success, and external auditors to ensure alignment and meet regulatory standards (GDPR, SOC 2, etc.)
  • Customer Focus: Champion user and admin needs, gather feedback from enterprise clients, and continuously iterate to improve usability and coverage of security features
  • Metrics & Monitoring: Define and track KPIs for audit log completeness, permission accuracy, and access control effectiveness
  • Documentation: Produce clear product documentation and release notes for stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Security Advocacy: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in product security, compliance, and SaaS controls
