Candidates must possess a deep understanding of experimentation fundamentals and statistics, along with hands-on experience running experiments in Product and/or Marketing. Mastery of SQL and Python is required, as are strong cross-functional communication skills with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Growth teams. A proactive, impact-oriented mindset that balances rigor with speed is essential. Experience with causal inference/quasi-experimental methods, ad platforms, incrementality measurement, experimentation platforms, dashboarding tools, and analytics engineering are considered nice-to-have competencies.
The Product Experimentation Analyst will drive data-informed decision-making across Product, Growth, and Marketing, working on a wide range of experiment surfaces including product features, user journeys, marketing campaigns, creatives, and acquisition funnels. Responsibilities include owning and maintaining core experimentation datasets, ensuring integrations with relevant data systems, and contributing to the Experimentation Platform roadmap. The role involves designing and analyzing experiments using A/B tests, geo-experiments, platform lift studies, quasi-experiments, and causal inference, as well as conducting meta-analyses. Methodological innovation includes developing surrogate/predictive metrics and researching/implementing methods for non-randomized scenarios. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Creative teams is key, along with advising on experiments and exploratory analyses. Additionally, the analyst will build and deliver trainings, workshops, and playbooks to enhance experimentation maturity and identify solutions to improve testing velocity and quality.
