Familiarity with Haiku reconciliation and experience working with practice management systems are also required. The position requires the ability to coordinate workflow and provide on-going education and training to staff.
The Lead Patient Accounts Representative will coordinate workflow daily, delegating work to team members and providing ongoing education and training. They will review and update weekly charge status forms, pull manual charge files from various systems, and compare reports to identify changes in volume. Additionally, the role involves working directly with internal and external groups to ensure timely charge review, manual charge entry, and charge reconciliation, as well as resolving charging and system issues in collaboration with ancillary departments and affiliates. The position also includes supporting charge capture work queues, working with billing companies on charge corrections, and addressing IT-related updates affecting charge systems.
