Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, packaging, production, or related job
  • Ability to stand for long intervals of time and lift or move up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and gowns in work centers
  • Vision acuity with minimum 20/40 corrected vision and color vision
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety Standards, and Cleanroom requirements (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals, training materials, and product records
  • Ability to independently follow procedures and instructions
  • Great teammate who completes tasks safely, accurately, and timely, and helps others as needed

  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical or food and beverage industry

Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurately assemble and/or label pharmaceutical clinical trial treatments and supplies following all associated manufacturing regulatory standards and procedures
  • Prepare work centers for Execution and Line Clearances and ensure all GMP standards are met
  • Interpret batch record paperwork to ensure the correct process is being performed
  • Assign all production personnel in the room to a specific task and ensure compliance with the batch paperwork by having them accurately demonstrate their assigned task to assess proficiency
  • Review batch paperwork to perform the required packaging procedures for assembly of each study
  • Assume responsibility for all activities performed within the assigned production room
  • Ensure all materials are accounted for and documented at job completion, meeting accountability limits specified in the SOPs
  • Accurately count out and prepare packaging supplies to ensure accurate inventory prior to and at the completion of each job order
  • Accept/reject product to ensure it meets acceptability and quality standards
  • Assist Quality Assurance personnel and Production Supervisors in staging and reconciliation of components
  • Perform final check of work in-process and finished products and pack these goods into appropriately labeled containers
  • Clean production rooms and machinery to meet acceptability requirements
  • Coordinate multiple rooms in the area
  • Mentor new employees
