Requirements

BS in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience or Master's with 5+ years of experience
Strong expertise in mechanical design of electronic devices or precision machinery products
Familiar with commonly used materials, machining, sheet metal, and die casting parts design and processes
Proficient in CAD software PTC Creo for 3D modeling and 2D drawing
Ability to perform tolerance stack-up analysis
Familiar with industry design standards, vendors, and off-the-shelf selection
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English speaking and writing
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent teamwork, self-starter, energizing, results-oriented, and able to multi-task
Experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Reliability (DFR)
Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
Experience with thermal design

Responsibilities

Develop innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, service, cost, and manufacturability
Lead design visualization efforts and essential component and assembly details to explore multiple design options
Develop engineering design solutions capable of 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing
Conduct engineering tests with specified measurement tools
Develop designs with robust solutions of high quality, familiar with mechanical relevant standards
Deliver improvements to customer-focused metrics
