Requirements

Expertise in mechanical commissioning and testing activities for mechanical systems
Ability to act as technical expert and advisory on feasibility, practicality, cost, and resource impacts
Capability to serve as on-site technical lead, coordinating information from vendors, clients, contractors, and site owners
Experience participating in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to provide technical opinions and agree on commissioning scopes
Knowledge of ensuring certifications and documentation from contractors and vendors for commissioning
Proficiency in reviewing, analyzing, and approving design documents (BoD, OPR, drawings, schematics, diagrams)
Skills in supporting development of engineering and commissioning deliverables
Experience developing, reviewing, and approving test scripts, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Factory Witness Tests (FWT)
Ability to execute against project schedules, coordinate contractors/vendors, and ensure safety

Responsibilities

Lead and steer all mechanical commissioning and testing activities according to agreed Scope of Works
Act as technical expert and advisory for the client on solutions, methods, and procedures throughout commissioning
Fulfil role of on-site technical lead and coordinate information from stakeholders for decision-making
Participate and contribute to meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to agree on commissioning deliverables
Ensure all relevant certifications and documentation are provided by contractors and vendors for commissioning use
Review, check, analyze, and approve design documents meeting commissioning requirements
Support development of engineering and commissioning deliverables with team members
Develop, create, review, and achieve approval of test scripts and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
Develop, create, review, achieve approval, and initiate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) or Factory Witness Tests (FWT)
