7+ years of responsibilities and experience in design control, CAD PLM, managing CAD standards, PDM Professional vault workflows and user management
Experience working in product development in diagnostics, medical devices, life sciences, or biotechnology
Expert in SolidWorks and Ansys simulation tools
Experience leading projects as a technical lead or project manager

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain SolidWorks PDM system for design file management across Cepheid, ensuring version control and access compliance
Validate synchronization between SolidWorks PDM designs and documentation released in Cepheid’s Quality Management System (QMS)
Troubleshoot and resolve SolidWorks and PDM-related technical issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
Manage engineering software licenses and monitor server performance metrics to ensure optimal uptime and resource utilization
Develop and maintain standardized drawing templates, part libraries, and design documentation; conduct empirical studies including protocol execution, data analysis, and reporting of engineering findings
