Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or combination of education and experience demonstrating required skills; military service/training in lieu of degree may be considered
  • 4 years of related experience within a laboratory setting preferred; experience working in customer service preferred
  • GxP experience and IATA/DOT certification preferred; knowledge of OSHA General Industry requirements a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with desire to deliver excellent customer service, including maintaining professional appearance and demeanor
  • Computer proficiency with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite; strong organizational skills to multi-task and meet due dates
  • Ability to understand complexity of various work environments and work safely following all policies and procedures
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance (regularly 30-40 lbs., up to 50 lbs. occasionally); push/pull up to 100 lbs. using equipment like pushcarts, pallet jacks, forklifts
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual material handling (twisting, bending, reaching, lifting) for prolonged periods/full shifts
  • Ability to work in varied environments: cleanrooms (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, etc.), cold rooms/freezers (-22°F/-6°C), areas with strong odors, hazardous/toxic materials, chemical allergens
  • Willingness to wear PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, coveralls, hoods, facemasks, hairnets, steel-toe shoes, etc.)
  • Ability to travel to multiple customer facilities for scheduled/unscheduled coverage, sometimes for extended periods; work overtime or independently as needed

Responsibilities

  • Travel to provide support at multiple customer facilities for scheduled and unscheduled gaps in coverage, sometimes for extended periods
  • Inventory Management: stock room, point-of-use (POU) management, dispensing of products
  • Order Management: order entry, order expediting, customer service support
  • Chemical Management: receive, register, and track chemical containers
  • Clean Room support: handling of raw materials, cleaning reagents, gowning supplies, and consumables; sanitization of all items transferred into cleanrooms
  • Media and Buffer Prep: prepare inventory solutions, customer requests
  • Drive Process Improvement culture
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned by management
