Requirements

Leadership experience in housekeeping required
Ability to work 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am, rotating weekends/holidays, 80 hours/2 weeks)
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Ability to communicate effectively, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds
High School diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
Related experience and/or training (preferred)

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
Participate in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
Keep assigned areas fully stocked with supplies like paper towels and toilet paper
Maintain stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
Maintain good customer relations by demonstrating rapport and cooperative relationships with employees, departments, coworkers, and staff
Manage workload and delegate tasks to other staff members as needed
Serve as a resource to staff members when leadership is not available and maintain competency

Uphold standards of Communication, Attitude, Responsiveness, and Engagement (CARE)
Maintain confidentiality, work effectively in a team, comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., CMS, Joint Commission, DHHS, OSHA)
