This architect plays a crucial role in shaping the technology landscape, driving innovation, and reducing technical debt. Enterprise Architects at Humana not only discuss best practices and strategy, but we also deliver EA products and services which drive the entire organization forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the roadmap for our Enterprise Architecture Management System (EAMS).
  • Understand and incorporate key strategy elements from partners and customers.
  • Unlock our ability to connect business objectives to technology strategy and assets.
  • Collaborate with architects and senior leaders to define and communicate the enterprise architecture vision, prioritize features, and deliver all the goodness that comes with a world-class EAMS implementation.
  • Use your skills to make an impact.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with at least 10 years of IT experience.
  • Five years' experience in a role with enterprise impact such as application, domain, or security architecture, ready to navigate complex ecosystems and drive technical consensus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enterprise Architecture Framework Certifications
  • Experience leveraging 1 or more Enterprise Architecture Management Systems

Additional Information

Internet Service Requirements:

  • Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required.
  • Wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
  • For employees in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota, a bi-weekly payment for internet expense will be provided.

Equipment:

  • Humana will provide telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for the position.

Work Environment:

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel:

  • While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Scheduled Weekly Hours

  • 40 hours per week

Pay Range

  • $142,300 - $195,700 per year
  • This compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
  • This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
