Requirements

Candidates should possess a Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, and have at least 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong preference for experience in a financial services or fintech environment. Responsibilities

As a Lead Data Scientist at Monzo, you will be responsible for leading the data strategy and evolving the bank to make it magically simple for customers to manage their money, developing and executing best practices for experimentation to enable data-informed decisions, and collaborating with data teams across Monzo to foster knowledge sharing and establish data standards. You will also be expected to guide the team in solving impactful business questions and analyses, leveraging self-serve analytics tools, and contributing to the overall data-driven decision-making culture within the organization.
