Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Strong competencies in SQL, Python, data warehousing technologies, big data technologies, data quality tools, data integration tools, data lineage tools, and data analytics and business intelligence tools are required. Fluency in English and the local language is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Lead Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure for collecting, storing, and processing raw data, transforming it into usable information for analysis. This includes building data pipelines, managing data warehouses/lakes, ensuring data cleanliness/quality, collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, implementing optimizations, ensuring data security, and developing processes for effective data ingestion, quality, maintenance, and automation. They will also contribute to discussions on identifying opportunities in data architecture to enable business opportunities, document data sources and systems, coordinate with IT, and lead the development of technical documentation.
