Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-8 years of experience in related field
  • Paralegal experience is a plus
  • Experience in redlining commercial agreements including third party

Responsibilities

  • Lead completion of redlines with regards to bid documents and direct/group purchasing organization off-template agreements for Medical Product Therapies
  • Redline, review, negotiate, and finalize a variety of business contracts and correspondence
  • Prepare and assist in processing template agreements from initial drafting to finalization, including redlines
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on contract terms to business team; work directly with external parties to identify alternative provisions to resolve differences
  • Exercise independent judgment to identify potential legal and/or business-related issues, including operational risk, and seek guidance where appropriate
  • Provide legal support for processing direct and/or group purchasing organization off-template agreements from initial drafting, redlines, to finalization
  • Lead RFP/RFI processes which contain terms and conditions templates for Medical Products Therapies
  • Provide accurate and efficient support to customers and stakeholders, creating profitable and quality agreements for Baxter
  • Collaborate and work with individuals at all levels of the organization, including Legal, Sales, and internal/external business associates
  • Participate in process innovation to identify procedural gaps, drive improvements, efficiencies, achieve results, and enhance customer relationships
  • Communicate with Sales to understand customer needs and business opportunities
  • Provide operational support to Marketing for product launches and promotional pricing by creating agreement templates
  • Contribute to and/or create standard operating procedures and maintain those procedures
