Requirements
Passion and curiosity to solve complex problems in the space of membrane technology
Graduate level (M.Sc, PhD) as a chemist, chemical engineer or equivalent degree
3-5 years of professional experience in chemical cleaning, Food & beverage industries or membrane or water applications/science
Preferred experience in the field of membrane technologies or water and/or chemical circularity
Background in Chemistry based R&D work and proven project management skills
Preferred experience in digital solutions for membrane process optimization
Commitment for traveling for customer interaction and field testing
Fluent in written and spoken English (MUST)
Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership presence
Responsibilities
Provide leadership for global projects in the space of membrane cleaning, digital membrane monitoring innovation and water reuse+recycling / chemical circularity within the industrial division
Drive global development of differentiated technologies in the space of membrane cleaning, digital membrane solutions and solutions in the space of chemical and water circularity
Develop strong partnerships and relationships with global Food & Beverage team members (Marketing, Sales, Technical Excellence, Regulatory Affairs and Supply Chain) and external partners to deliver an innovation pipeline
Manage and lead innovation projects from the start in the lab into the field at customer site
Design, plan, supervise local lab team, analyze and report lab and pilot experiments
Manage field trials at customer sites especially in EU
Active part in identifying and scoping of projects in partnership with Marketing
Work with virtual teams over the globe across functions and with external partners like customers, suppliers and universities to drive innovations
