  • At least five years of experience creating sophisticated visual and spatial concepts
  • Strong foundation in brand and retail design
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple design disciplines, including graphic design, environmental design, materials, and digital
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite, Keynote, SketchUp, and 3D rendering software
  • Ability to push boundaries of immersive retail environments using emerging technology to enhance consumer engagement
  • Expertise in storytelling, integrating cultural, consumer, and business insights into design solutions that reflect Nike’s design ethos
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly at all levels, including senior creative teams
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and build strong relationships across functions and territories
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced environments with sound judgment, ambiguity navigation, motivation of teams, and driving clarity/alignment

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams across multiple design disciplines, providing vision, strategic direction, and alignment with business strategies
  • Manage and coach design professionals, creating development opportunities, recognizing performance, and fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration
  • Collaborate with design peers and partner groups to maintain consistency and alignment with Brand plans across all areas of focus
  • Oversee the design process to ensure deliverables, timelines, and budgets are met while establishing and driving best practices
  • Present and communicate design concepts to management at all levels, elevating strategic concerns when needed
  • Work under the direction of a Design Director and partner with cross-functional teams across APLA to lead and deliver innovative retail environments, displays, and digital solutions
  • Build strong, influential relationships across functions and territories with merchandising, marketing, operations, and creative counterparts
  • Support and develop consumer-led retail concepts to elevate Nike’s retail business and deliver impactful, scalable design solutions for immersive retail environments and experiences
