Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 10 years of experience in software architecture, with a strong preference for experience in the CPaaS industry. They should demonstrate proven experience standardizing managed platforms across distributed systems, utilizing reusable patterns and governance. Strong leadership and team management skills are required, including the ability to inspire, guide, and motivate a team of architects. Deep expertise in cloud-based microservice architectures and large-scale real-time communication systems is essential, alongside familiarity with AI/ML integration and modern technologies.
The Lead Architect will provide clear architectural leadership by evaluating technical options, aligning stakeholders, and balancing vision, scalability, and delivery timelines. They will build and lead the embedded architecture department, fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence, while mentoring a high-performing team across various architecture disciplines. The role involves acting as a strategic advisor to Engineering and Product leadership, identifying architectural gaps and opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally with product, development, QA, and operations teams to ensure architectural alignment. Furthermore, the Lead Architect will define and communicate the architectural vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals, establish and embed architectural governance, and lead the technical architecture of the CPaaS platform to ensure scalability, performance, and compliance. They will design and oversee the architecture and implementation of a scalable cloud-based microservices platform on AWS, evaluate and recommend tools and technologies, and provide hands-on technical leadership to resolve complex challenges, while also communicating architectural strategies and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
