Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting entries and principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks
  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree or professional certification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Exposure to financial instruments or experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain

Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end closing activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries
  • Handle revenue accruals and ensure accurate recognition of income
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) cycles
  • Oversee expense management, ensuring timely and accurate recording
  • Process and validate invoice entries in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Maintain reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor statements, and intercompany balances
  • Take full ownership of entities, managing their accounting independently
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
