Requirements

  • Master's degree (MS/MA) desired from an accredited University in a Quantitative field such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics
  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Certification is required in some areas
  • Expert in field with broad business knowledge and strategic insight on emerging trends and technologies
  • Well-versed with Relational (e.g., Oracle or MySQL) and/or Data Warehouse data storage (e.g., Snowflake or Databricks Delta Lake)
  • Proficiency with tools including Tableau, Palantir, PowerBI (AI Insights), Databricks, AWS, Azure, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI
  • Experience with statistical methods, predictive modeling (e.g., Linear/Logistic Regression, Time Series), and big data analytics

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data sets from internal/external sources, datalakes, data warehouses (e.g., eCDW, BIDW) to solve business problems, predict behaviors, and identify causal relationships, trigger points, and predictions
  • Apply advanced statistical methods to quantify data variances and use traditional modeling techniques to support decision-making
  • Develop business cases and create complex models using big data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI AI Insights, Databricks) for modeling, process integration, and recommendations on processes, financials, business models
  • Build and test predictive models on various data samples and verify their accuracy in real-world scenarios
  • Develop visualizations such as dashboards, reports, and charts
  • Advise business partners on data patterns and relationships to recommend strategic directions or outcomes
  • Lead critical, high-impact projects, design/implement innovative business strategies, work with minimal oversight, consult senior leadership, influence executive decisions, mentor others
  • Perform very complex advanced analytics work, create new ways of analyzing data, build very complex business models, and make recommendations impacting an entire business unit or large complex sector
