High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial operations is a plus
Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred
Demonstrated ability in a Gas Lab Filler or Lab Technician role, showing strong motivation and exceptional performance
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter with a proactive and self-motivated approach
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to achieve goals
Capability to work independently and manage tasks under pressure
Interpersonal skills to collaborate with a diverse range of individuals
Proficiency in reading and comprehending safety data sheets
Aptitude for following instructions and procedures
Ability to understand and interpret technical documents and regulations
Proficiency in writing routine business reports and effectively communicating with colleagues and customers
Problem-solving capability, especially in situations with limited standardization

Responsibilities

Safely fill cylinders with mixed gases in accordance with regulatory requirements
Perform pure gas filling and the preparation of device and specialty gas mixes
Handle liquid gas tanks, ensuring compliance with OSHA, FDA, DOT, ISO, and Airgas regulations and policies
Adhere to Airgas SOPs during the loading and unloading of cylinder gases
Maintain a safe and effective lab environment through attention to detail and compliance
