Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years clinical laboratory experience either in an HSE Pathology laboratory or commercial environment
  • Deep understanding of laboratory workflows
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate the value of diagnostic products and solutions
  • Product knowledge of laboratory automation, chemistry, and immunoassay technologies, including Beckman Coulter Diagnostics' product offerings and industry trends
  • Ability to design laboratory solutions, recommend analyzers, processes, and assays, and adapt solutions to include 3rd party innovations
  • Ability to articulate solution benefits in presentations to individuals or groups
  • Ability to differentiate Automation and Workflow IT Solutions using USPs and metrics

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise, solutions, and consultation to prospective customers as part of the sales process
  • Engage with customers to understand their unique laboratory requirements and challenges, build relationships, and gather insights using a value-selling approach
  • Design laboratory solutions based on customer insights that address their needs and goals
  • Deliver solution benefits in one-to-one and/or group presentations, articulating Beckman Coulter solution benefits aligned with customer needs for today and tomorrow
  • Collaborate with customers to highlight the urgency in addressing their explicit needs and differentiate solutions using metrics
  • Collaborate closely with the Ireland and UK sales team to align proposed solutions with the company's sales strategy and provide sales professionals with product knowledge and support
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in laboratory automation, chemistry, and immunoassay technologies
  • Train customers and the sales team on the proper use of laboratory solutions and provide ongoing support
