Requirements

10+ years of overall IT experience with hands-on experience on all HPE Storage, SAN Fabric and other Storage products
Professional degree or equivalent experience and 6+ years related HPE Storage experience
Hands-on experience on administration of 3PAR, Primera, Alletra, MSA – LUN creation, extension, Virtual copy, Snapshot, Replication, Alerting and monitoring, Capacity Management, Reporting, etc
Administration of SAN Switches and monitoring configuration
Aptitude towards problem solving and troubleshooting skills on SAN connectivity
Familiar with SNMP & SMTP protocols, other Monitoring tools
Understanding of Implementation and troubleshooting of Storage Container like VASA, Vvol
Must have experience on storage from below: Primera, Alletra, MSA storage (anyone) & NAS
SAN fundamentals, Switch Zoning, FOS upgrade, troubleshooting etc
Operating system (any one of Windows, Linux, VMWare)
Understanding for Virtualization (ESXI) and Cloud technology
Preferable: Experience with one of the Enterprise Backup software: Cohesity or Netapp any one of the backup tool

Responsibilities

Part of a 24/7 IT operations team, directly responsible for Storage: Primera, Alletra, SAN Fabric, NAS
Take a leadership role with customer teams and internal teams to resolve problems, maintain managed backup operations and return systems to operational status
Lead communication between other technical teams, customers and internal organizations to fulfill customer needs and accomplish customer satisfaction
Maintain 3PAR, Primera, Alletra, MSA storage, NAS and associated SAN infrastructure
Support and troubleshoot Storage and SAN issues in widely distributed environment
Plan and implement best practices for Storage and SAN solutions
Proactive measures to ensure adequate storage (Primera, Alletra or any HPE storage in scope) capacity is available
Create SOPs and update documentation for various administration activities on Storage and SAN
Understanding and demonstrating of the HLD and LLD design to customers, able to provide good write off in KB article
Understand the Bottleneck in environment and implement the changes to fix the bottleneck
Perform configuration changes as per design and build. Provide input in existing design for any correction and suggestion
Understanding of Implementation and troubleshooting of Storage Container like VASA, Vvol etc
