Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Adaptability, high stress tolerance, and flexibility in an ever-changing environment
  • Compliance mindset and commitment to adhering to regulations and maintaining safety standards
  • Ability to sit or stand for 10 hours per day with consistent hand-eye coordination and excellent hand dexterity
  • Ability to bend, lift, and stoop continuously, including lifting up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Daily use of provided PPE (masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, Tyvek suits as necessary)
  • Tolerance for potential exposure to dust, pollen, plant pathogens, cleaning solvents (e.g., high volumes of isopropyl alcohol), loud noises, and CO2 at OSHA-approved levels

Responsibilities

  • Prep, cook, and package edibles in compliance with strict standards
  • Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are clean, functional, and ready for use
  • Follow department SOPs, recipes, and regulations like GMP, HACCP, and QA
  • Document every step of production to maintain compliance and consistency
  • Follow PPE requirements and ensure a safe, clean work environment
  • Adapt to new systems and processes while supporting team in achieving production goals
