Responsibilities

  • Manages and develops assigned Chain Key customers, handling implementation of Trade Marketing activities to build strong relationships with key customers
  • Implements a common Trade marketing plan to optimize Trade Key Accounts (Chain Pharmacies) & eCommerce channels for local markets
  • Defines and develops Key chain strategies and tactics (such as merchandising recommendations and materials) to stimulate Abbott’s brands availability, visibility and recommendation rates, bridging Abbott’s brands’ strategy and customers’ needs
  • Develops a structured commercial offering locally with a strong emphasis on strengthening and growing brands in the chain sectors
  • Understands switch level in key Chain Channels
  • Builds Pharmacy Loyalty and advocacy perspectives in key chain channels
  • Liaises, builds and develops relationships with key purchasers in chain sector, and optimizes services to Abbott in return
  • Devises and proposes promotional plans that maximize sales in assigned chains and ensures timely execution
  • Monitors Chains performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets; analyzes sales data and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and formulate actionable insights; prepares reports and presents findings to management
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including all key healthcare professionals and regulatory authorities; resolves escalated customer issues, addresses complaints, and maintains customer satisfaction
  • Manages relationships with key pharmacy chain buyers and stakeholders
  • Ensures product listings, shelf positioning, and in-store execution follow Abbott’s brand and merchandising guidelines
  • Implements chain-specific activities to drive brand visibility and availability, including new product launches
  • Ensures all trade activities comply with legal and regulatory standards, especially for Rx products
  • Provides insights for demand forecasting and business planning
