As an End Customer Account Manager (m/w/d) for Citrix, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and expanding the sales strategy in the commercial segment. Your focus will be on acquiring new customers (whitespace), reactivating former customers, and strengthening our market presence in the competition. In close collaboration with our Country Channel Teams, you coordinate sales activities in your region and make a crucial contribution to achieving our company goals.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in direct or end-customer sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the technology sector, particularly in managing customer relationships, processes, and programs, and in leading sales teams in the IT industry.
  • Cloud Computing & Virtualization: Ideal experience in Cloud Computing and Virtualization technology.
  • Citrix Knowledge: Knowledge of Citrix products and solutions is a significant advantage.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong self-responsibility, organizational skills, and structured work approach.
  • Language Skills: Fluent German and English.
  • Matrix Organization: Experience working within a matrix organization and complex structures.
  • Travel: High willingness to travel (approximately 50%).

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Independently implement the sales strategy for new customer acquisition in the commercial segment.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strategic relationships with decision-makers at C-level and senior management levels.
  • Regional Execution: Locally implement EMEA-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Support and develop strategic partnerships to generate new business opportunities.
  • Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Steer forecasting and pipeline management in coordination with country teams.
  • Sales Support & Consulting: Provide sales support and consulting to Country Managers and Business Unit Leaders.
  • Collaboration: Cooperate with EMEA teams to ensure consistent market approaches.
  • Close Collaboration: Collaborate with Business Developers at country level to achieve goals.
  • Campaign Development: Conceive and implement targeted sales and marketing campaigns in collaboration with marketing experts.
  • Sales Play Development: Develop sales plays to promote product adoption in the commercial segment.
