Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven track record of 12 or more years of successful account management in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
  • Extensive customer relationships with key account RX and Medical Directors
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed quantitative and qualitative targets
  • Ability to travel 60-80%
  • Strong project management experience with superior analytical and planning skills
  • Effective team player, capable of thriving in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel
  • Reside within the geographic area of responsibility to facilitate efficient account management
  • A valid driver’s license is required due to the essential duty of driving

Responsibilities

  • Represent Madrigal with Integrated Delivery Systems and large HCP Super Groups, engaging with C-suite executives, pharmacy directors, and medical directors within the assigned accounts
  • Articulate compelling unbranded and branded messaging within PI labeling including the Brand Value Propositions, brand clinical information (approved reprints) and approved Health Economic Data and Models
  • Drive customer engagement by providing deep insights and expertise around the MAFLD/MASH disease continuum, offering valuable customer insights on trends, market conditions, protocol development, and changes in formulary/medical policies
  • Leverage and champion core key account resources and sales planning tools to optimize sales performance
  • Encourage and facilitate MML/HEOR/Marketing team interactions with customers, foster consultation and collaboration with stakeholders across matrixed organizations to develop patient-centric solutions, unique MML engagements and relationship building with peers
  • Collaborate with functional matrix team leaders to optimize business performance and/or effectively manage complex business risks and issues
  • Develop and execute Key Account matrix business plans in cooperation with cross functional leaders (Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access & Patient Support)
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in strict compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations as well as company policies
