Requirements

  • Proven track record of influencing product direction with actionable customer insights
  • 2+ years of experience in UX research (or UX/product design with a strong research focus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • An online case-study portfolio showcasing research artifacts, process, and impact (required for consideration)
  • Experience leveraging research outputs to remove roadblocks, reduce churn, and help teams deliver on outcomes while strengthening relationships across teams and with end users
  • Comfortable working with large product analytics datasets; base-level proficiency in data analytics languages such as Python and SQL
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to advocate for users and drive action on insights across diverse stakeholders
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS and/or AdTech
  • Experience with business intelligence or data visualization products
  • Experience with telemetry and instrumentation data analysis
  • Experience using AI tools or agents (e.g., NotebookLM, Gemini) within a research practice
  • Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research using both quantitative methods (e.g., benchmarking, surveys, product analytics) and qualitative methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, hypothesis testing)
  • Analyze and synthesize findings to deliver actionable insights across discovery, ideation, and development phases
  • Evangelize user-centered methods and guide partners who are conducting their own research to uphold quality and consistency
  • Develop research strategies throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to launch—and for ongoing optimization of experiences
  • Partner closely with product and design to define and track key product metrics that measure progress of user experiences toward critical business objectives
