  • One year of Assistant Market Manager experience and/or 1 year of office experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Advanced typing skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage clerical duties involved with shipments from order entry to clearance in country, including order entry, shipment preparation for operations, customer communication, coordination of product inspection, preparation of certificates & final documents, arrangement of freight, and responsibility for legal exportation of goods from the USA and customs clearance in the destination country
  • Adjust orders to be routed for selection, arrange for product inspection, prepare inspection applications for USDA, USDC and all government inspectors, maintain shipment in SUS to ensure warehouse documents print properly, prepare warehouse documents (pull sheet, TBOL, packing list) and warehouse folder
  • Perform data entry in SUS pertaining to order entry, hand pricing, booking information, delivery information, etc
  • Coordinate freight with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery to end user
  • Prepare specific documents required to export product from the USA as well as clear customs in the destination country
  • For a limited number of customer accounts, utilize market/customer knowledge and country-specific regulations to assist customers through the entire order process: educate on products/trends, ensure accurate order transmission, respond to inquiries, collect monies owed, solve shipment issues, work with merchandising for order fulfillment, work with product registration for market approval, provide custom shipping instructions, arrange export inspections, liaise with inland/ocean logistics and freight forwarders
  • Act as first point of contact for customers in portfolio, provide counsel on products and services offered by IFG
  • Handle customer correspondence to provide information and resolve challenges with urgency
  • Proactively contact customers to solicit new orders and inquire on potential sales
  • Handle correspondence with Brands regarding issues and promos
  • Perform all duties with advice and support from the current Market Manager team
