Requirements

Candidates must possess native-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 or above) and excellent English communication skills. Previous experience in customer support is required, along with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends. Strong leadership, decision-making, conflict management, and analytical skills are essential, as is familiarity with ticketing platforms like Helpshift or Zendesk and the Google suite. The ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, work under pressure, and meet deadlines is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Team Lead will manage, motivate, coach, and train customer support teams, creating schedules and ensuring tasks are completed according to client requirements. Responsibilities include addressing project issues proactively, upholding studio policies and security standards, and serving as an escalation point for customer issues. The role involves conducting quality control checks, monitoring ticket databases to meet KPIs and SLAs, reviewing reports for anomalies, and developing training materials. Additionally, the Team Lead will manage personnel, including vacation requests and attendance, and provide regular project status updates to the Operations Manager.
