Requirements

  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and support processes
  • Familiarity with common business software and SaaS applications
  • Working knowledge of both MacOS and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with basic troubleshooting and problem-solving in Mac and PC environments
  • Experience in a helpdesk

Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline support by independently delivering friendly and efficient day-to-day hardware and software support to Second Dinner team members both remotely and in office
  • Manage and troubleshoot core tools and services, including Okta (Single Sign-On), Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Unity, Zoom, Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), and Microsoft 365
  • Provide field support for both MacOS and Windows PC environments, including setting up and configuring new machines, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing software updates and patches, and assisting with data migration and backups
  • Oversee MDM platforms and mobile devices (Microsoft Intune for Windows, Kandji for macOS)
  • Maintain hardware and software inventories
  • Document IT processes and create user guides
  • Support and work with the IT team to implement automation initiatives in the IT department
  • Collaborate and support the IT Manager and Security & Compliance Manager on various strategic projects
  • Stay current with IT best practices and emerging technologies
