Requirements

Proven and extensive experience in senior end-user support (Tier 2/3) with dedicated security operations/system administration
Hands-on expertise managing and monitoring EDR/Antivirus, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners
Strong knowledge of Windows OS management, Active Directory (or Azure AD/Entra ID), and managing core network services
Demonstrated ability to automate routine tasks and efficiently manage tickets and processes using scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and ticketing systems
Proactive problem solving with a strong commitment to security hardening and an analytical approach to resolving operational outages and security incidents
Full-time onsite availability at BGC office

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2/3 end-user support, resolving complex hardware, software (Office 365, internal applications), and connectivity issues
Oversee workstation lifecycle management, including purchase, setup, deployment, and secure end-of-life of corporate workstations and hardware inventory
Execute routine system maintenance, including Windows updates, software patching, and performance optimization
Manage local network infrastructure, address connectivity issues, and maintain network hardware health
Implement, manage, and monitor Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) systems and antivirus solutions
Own vulnerability management lifecycle, including running security scans and deploying automated patching across endpoints and core applications
Manage and enforce identity and access controls, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and privileges in cloud environments (e.g., Office 365)
Serve as first responder for security incidents, executing runbooks for containment, eradication, and recovery
Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery and backup plans for data security and business continuity
