Requirements

Proven track record in managing complex manufacturing systems involving automation, robotics, and advanced technologies in Bioprocess/Biopharma/Medical devices’ industry
Proficiency in Process Control Systems, SCADA, PLCs, and other automation technologies, with the ability to design and implement robust system integration architectures
A degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication with stakeholders
Leadership and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in English (additional language skills are a plus)
Experience in manufacturing, energy, utilities, or similar industrial sectors
Hands-on experience with MES, SCADA, PLCs, and cloud-based platforms
Knowledge of digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0 or Smart Factory
Previous experience in Bioprocess/Biopharma/Medical devices’ industry
Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 60% of the time

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end IT-OT integration projects, from planning through execution and delivery
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements
Collaborate with IT, OT, engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to program management and stakeholders
Ensure alignment between IT systems (e.g., ERP, MES, cloud platforms) and OT systems (e.g., SCADA, PLCs, DCS)
Oversee data integration, network architecture, and system interoperability
Integrate automation systems with digital applications, ensuring seamless connectivity between production, quality control, and data management
Support cybersecurity initiatives across IT and OT environments
Ensure projects comply with industry standards (e.g., ISA-95, IEC 62443) and company policies
Maintain documentation and audit trails for regulatory and operational purposes
Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
Promote best practices in IT-OT convergence and digital innovation
