  • 2+ years of experience supporting a Windows environment
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred (or equivalent experience; if no degree, two additional years of experience required for each year of college not completed)
  • A+ Certification, MCP, or MCSE preferred
  • Shift flexibility required

Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop support including technical advice, guidance, and informal training to customers using hardware and software programs
  • Troubleshoot and restore routine technical service and equipment problems by analyzing, identifying, and diagnosing problems and symptoms using established processes and procedures
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop checklists for problems
  • Recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention
  • Work independently, share information, and assist others with service tickets
  • Perform necessary diagnostic and corrective actions for hardware and software problems
  • Respond to, resolve, and document service tickets in a timely manner according to service level agreements or assigned completion dates
