Requirements

  • Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is desired but not required
  • Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethic
  • Ability to operate hand tools such as hammers and screwdrivers
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas equipment
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming iron starts to finish: accept equipment from delivery, recertify equipment, load equipment for delivery, complete all associate paperwork, perform quality check, and manage inventory (without supervision)
  • Assist Iron Technicians during the disassembling phase
  • Clean, strip and inspect all required flow control components
  • Prepare flow control products for Gauging, Ultra Sonic, and MPI inspections
  • Demonstrate the disassemble of flow control products per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
  • Identify SPM and Customer product
  • Assemble flow control product
  • Nondestructive Testing Trainee (NDT Trainee)
  • Manifold tear down/rebuild trainee
  • Demonstrate computer skills for the SPM AMP System
  • Inventory Incoming Iron
  • Provide proper care and maintenance of all shop tools, equipment, and work area
  • Monitor daily work activities to ensure requirements are met
  • Perform other routine duties as assigned
