Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree in finance or economics with a minimum GPA of 3.5, and ideally have 3+ years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, financial advisory, or accounting firm. They should also hold SIE licenses (series 63 & 79), demonstrate advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and be proficient with relevant banking-related databases and applications such as Bloomberg and CapIQ.
The Investment Banking Associate at BTIG will provide transaction support to senior bankers on a variety of deals, including IPOs, secondary offerings, and M&A transactions, conducting financial analysis and modeling, managing multiple projects, preparing client presentations, performing due diligence, assisting in the creation of marketing materials, and interacting with clients during presentations and deal executions.
