High school diploma or equivalent
Active pharmacy technician license in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy of the state where applying, free of any disciplinary actions
2+ years experience working in a high volume pharmacy working with patients and providers
Ability to work weekdays and rotating weekends
Must be able to commute to and work at the pharmacy location during scheduled shifts (if hybrid or onsite)
Ability to learn and operate a new pharmacy management system and other relevant programs
Ability to interpret, transcribe, and troubleshoot prescription information
Ability to perform common math calculations
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and providers on the phone
Reside in AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, KS, MD, MO, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA, or WI
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
Physical ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods, move frequently around the pharmacy, stoop, bend, reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions, lift/carry/push/pull/move light objects up to 50 pounds, effectively communicate verbally, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details

Responsibilities

Manage Alto Pharmacy’s inventory at a pharmacy location, ensuring medications are properly stocked, tracked, audited, and replenished
Work closely with the pharmacy team to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure smooth pharmacy operations
Spend more than 90% of time offering personalized, direct support to patients, primarily addressing pharmacy-related needs by phone and email messaging
Identify, address, and resolve pharmacy-related inquiries and challenges
Engage with other teams to support patient needs and improve the overall experience
Demonstrate empathy in all patient interactions, effectively handling escalations, providing resolutions, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Provide feedback on common issues or workflow improvements from patient interactions, while consistently following predefined workflows to fulfill pharmacy needs within standard timeframes and processes
