Responsibilities

The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory items and monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. They will conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Collaboration with suppliers is required to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of components and materials while managing relationships to negotiate favorable terms and pricing. The specialist will work closely with the quality control team to ensure that incoming materials meet established quality standards and will address quality issues promptly. They will generate inventory reports, maintain documentation related to inventory processes, and continuously evaluate and improve inventory control procedures. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal security protocols for handling sensitive materials is essential, as well as safeguarding inventory against theft, damage, and unauthorized access. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, is necessary to ensure smooth operations and communicate inventory-related issues and recommendations to management.
