Responsibilities

Execute departmental inventory counts, process and sort damaged, defective, and/or return to vendor merchandise
Reduce salvage, obtain return authorizations from vendors, and re-wrap sellable merchandise
Work cross-functionally within departments to complete related inventory control responsibilities
Track, plan, coordinate, and execute department inventory count cycles as prescribed by Home Office within assigned deadlines, following count processes and procedures
Obtain return authorizations from vendors, process vendor chargebacks, and package and ship merchandise returns based on vendor return policies
Maintain correct stock/inventory status for all damaged, defective, and returned merchandise
Assess breakage logs for leaking, spoiled, and broken merchandise and process it out of inventory; process freezer and dairy damages
Conduct daily club safety walks in the absence of RTV
Understand and administer the company’s community donation programs for salvage and donation merchandise orders
Execute merchandise protection on designated items
Review daily return reports, process merchandise recalls, and process tire and battery returns
Re-wrap sellable merchandise using proper seal and shrink-wrap packaging
Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including grand opening look, stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining signage, and keeping areas clean and organized
