Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting
Knowledge of audit principles through experience or education
18+ months of audit experience (preferred)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills
Self-motivated, ambitious, and goal-oriented
Fully proficient with Google applications
Fluent in English
In the process of attaining professional certification (CIA, CPA, or non-US equivalent) or already having (preferred)
Excellent project management skills, including task identification, project planning, and proficiency with tools (preferred)
Experience with integrated audits, electronic work papers, and standard productivity tools (preferred)

Responsibilities

Assist the Audit Director with various auditing activities for the Audit department
Conduct audits, perform thorough testing, and assess the control environment in alignment with IIA International Standards for the Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), including Global Internal Audit Standards and Global Guidance
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls addressing business and operational risks
Review and perform audit work; compile and maintain workpapers and audit evidence
Summarize audit findings in written and verbal form; prepare reports for management
Document and analyze information for Audit management review
Coordinate with management on action plans to ensure timely implementation and completion addressing root causes
Effectively lead discussions throughout all phases of the audit process (planning, fieldwork, and reporting)
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with business unit management
Work closely with manager to support audit engagements and other projects
Manage time and workload efficiently to meet objectives and deadlines set by manager
