The salary range for this role is $20.00 - $35.00 an hour. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and geographic location.
The primary location is Rochester, New York, with an additional location in Canandaigua, New York. The primary work environment is within a corporate office setting.
Candidates must be current students in or recent graduates of a Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, Information Technology, Informatics or other STEM-related program. Required skills include technical and problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication, and strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Interns will work with a technical mentor from existing IT staff who provides guidance and insights. All interns participate in pre-planned events including Senior Leader Meetings, Goal Setting, Team Building, Tour, and Final Presentations.
Strong candidates demonstrate technical and problem-solving skills, ability to communicate effectively across levels, strong initiative, follow-through, and interest in learning new technologies. A STEM-related academic background and focus on quality, timely work are essential.
