Requirements

Studying a university degree with a focus on mechanics or electronics, or a combination of both ideally
Knowledge of design principles, ability to read, write and define standardized technical product documentation
Hands-on experience with 3D CAD modeling software
Good interpersonal skills for both internal and external communication with colleagues from various departments
Background in mechanical engineering combined with good insight in electronics or vice versa

Responsibilities

Participation on development projects which leads to outstanding product - new electron microscope
Participate on development of technology solutions and create technical documents for collaborating vendors
Be in contact with R&D engineers and turn results of electronics and physicist development into concrete parts, assemblies and products
Participate during assembly of prototypes and help with prototype testing
