Requirements

  • Studying a university degree with a focus on mechanics or electronics, or a combination of both ideally
  • Knowledge of design principles, ability to read, write and define standardized technical product documentation
  • Hands-on experience with 3D CAD modeling software
  • Good interpersonal skills for both internal and external communication with colleagues from various departments
  • Background in mechanical engineering combined with good insight in electronics or vice versa

Responsibilities

  • Participation on development projects which leads to outstanding product - new electron microscope
  • Participate on development of technology solutions and create technical documents for collaborating vendors
  • Be in contact with R&D engineers and turn results of electronics and physicist development into concrete parts, assemblies and products
  • Participate during assembly of prototypes and help with prototype testing
