Requirements

  • Construction/Roofing Industry knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Prior experience preferred in claims processing or adjusting for Construction, Roofing, Property and Casualty industries
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and policies related to roofing damage claims, or the ability to learn quickly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Be able to learn and navigate multiple technology platforms to perform daily tasks
  • Full-time on site at Indianapolis office

Responsibilities

  • Work with Bone Dry sales Representatives and clients to assess damage to their roofs and determine the need to file an insurance claim
  • Generate detailed cost estimates utilizing measurements and photos taken with the purpose of reaching an agreed scope of work with the insurance carrier
  • Assist and advise sales team for each particular claim
  • Advise clients on the insurance claims process and keep them informed
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters on behalf of clients to ensure accurate assessment of damage and appropriate payment for repairs
  • Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment of claims and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise
  • Keep detailed records of all insurance claims and maintain accurate documentation of all communications with clients, insurance companies, and production team
  • Invoice insurance carriers and follow up for payments while keeping company stakeholders up to date
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance regulations and policies that may impact the claims process
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders
